Lisa Corn is a writer from New Jersey, a descendant of both Prohibition-era bootleggers and immigrant farmers; her perspective comes from a place of contradiction and a unique sense of history. Lisa received her BFA in Writing from Pratt Institute. While there, she interned at Saturday Night Live in the script and film units, cementing her love of television. She went on to develop as a writer, contributing to the comedy magazine Reductress and numerous literary journals. Her scripts have received recognition from the Austin Film Festival, the Nashville Film Festival, Screencraft, and beyond. Her television career has led her to the streaming side of the business; she served as an editorial coordinator and script consultant at BBC Studios/BritBox and has worked in content strategy at Disney+. Now based in Los Angeles, Lisa draws from her origins and experiences to write character-driven, offbeat narratives set in overlooked communities.
Currently, Lisa serves on the reading board of The Plentitudes, regularly contributes to Reductress, and is a 2026 Sundance Institute Episodic Intensive Fellow.
